So today: Dungen Strats. First up: Utgarde Keep.
ReplyDeleteKeleseth:
This isn't really a difficult fight. He casts shadowbolt for about 3,000-4,000 damage. He periodically summons 4 non-elite Vrykul Skeletons.
When he casts frost tomb, try to off-tank him and have all other dps focus on the tomb, especially if it's your healer or tank. Other than that, cake walk.
Skarvald & Dalronn:
This is a 2-boss fight and it is rather complicated. When you kill a boss, they will turn into a ghost and won't despawn until you kill the other one.
Skarvald
The tank should focus on him, for two reasons. First, he does rather high physical damage. Second, Dalronn has no predictable aggro table. Periodically he will dropp aggro and shadowbolt a random party member.
Dalronn
You should get Skarvald down to about 75% health and have DPS switch over to Dalronn, while the tank continues on Skarvald. Periodically he will drop aggro and shadowbolt a random party member. If he is not picked up again immediately, he will pick up aggro again on that party memeber. IMPORTANT NOTE: Dalronn should be killed first, since the healer could pick aggro from Skarvald's ghost.
Ingvar the Plunderer:
Congratulations! You have gotten to the last boss!
Phase 1
He has a cleave ability, so all healers and DPS should stay behind him.
His smash deals about 13,000-15,000 damage to people in front of him for 10 yards. He also has a staggering roar that deals about 2,000-3,000 damage and interrupts all spells casters are casting and makes unable to cast it again for six seconds. Make sure caster aren't casting anything too much or that has a certain window to be cast.
Phase 2
When you kill him, he will be resurrected by Annhylde the Caller. He will have pretty much the same abilities, except they will also deal shadow damage in addition to the normal damage, and he will turn undead, making paladin abilities like Turn Undead much more useful.
